BRC Developer & Hacker Speed Demo Night
Class/Workshop
You were invited to this one
Burning Man Project's engineering team invited every API key requestor personally. Seven-minute demos from software and hardware hackers — Playa Watch is exactly the kind of thing it exists for, and it is the one night the people who maintain the API you have been living inside are all in one place.
Finding it
Tech camp sits behind the ARTery and has no Esplanade frontage, so you cannot see it from the street. From the ARTery, walk through the golf cart parking, past the ARTery offices and a row of RVs — the Dark Web bar is on your right. There is also a map posted outside the ARTery.
Source: Matt Fisher, BMP Engineering — email 26 Aug + #general: presenter list was full by Aug 18, attending is open, and 'you don't need to be finished with your project to talk about it'. A second session later in the week is possible.
